Is this a good weight loss plan?
Diet: 6 days a week
1) 1500 calories a day
2) 6-8 glasses of water a day
3) 3 meals a day
4) fruit for snacks
5) healthy food
6) only water/milk/and homemade fruit and veggie smoothies
7) keep a food journal
eat salads
9) no junk food/sweets
10)1 free “no diet” day a week
Workout: 6 days a week
3 minutes each exercise (30 minutes total):
1) stretch/warmup
2) butt exercises
3) jump rope
4) leg exercises
5) knee ups
6) core exercises
7) kick boxing
arm exercises
9) jogging in place
10) stretch/cooldown
Goals:
1) lose 15 pounds by the end of August (from 130 to 115)
2) learn to lead a healthy and fit lifestyle
3) get an overall toned and defined body and six pack abs
4) feel more confident overall
5) keep the weight off
Yeah that sounds really good. But, like Whitney said, don’t overdo it on your ‘no diet’ day. Instead, I would suggest 1,400 calories 7 days a week with 1-2 ‘treats’ a day. Healthy indulgences like 2-3 hershey’s kisses or 2 cookies, that you really savor will be more satisfying, and healthy than 1 ‘binge’ a week. Depriving yourself isn’t healthy, and you won’t feel very well after you eat a lot of junk food, so just spread it out, and eat what you want IN MODERATION, when you truely are hungry. You need to learn to listen to what your body wants.
